As noted above, premium site guests are responsble for their own electric.

For monthly and long-term guests, pull behind campers and 5th wheel units must be under 15 years of age and motor homes, Class A, B, and C, must be under 20 years of age. Exceptions are often made based on photos and personal contact with verifiable condition of the camper or motor home. Park owner reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone who attempts to enter the campground who knowingly violates park rules.

Reservations can be made online or by calling (252) 745-9190.  If you prefer to call, we will gladly answer any questions you may have about our campground and amenities.

For short term reservations, simply click on RESERVE NOW and reserve your site.  Following completion of your request, you will receive an email confirmation with details of your stay.  If you are interested in a longer stay, please submit your request through INQUIRE FOR LONG-TERM STAY.  Please understand this is strictly a Reservation Request Form.  You do not have an actual reservation until we have contacted you to confirm availability and you have paid the reservation deposit. 

We will do our best to contact you as promptly as possible. It is our policy to speak with all potential long-term guests in order to have a personal point of contact and to answer any questions you may have.

To ensure a great camping experience at River’s Edge, please be sure to review and understand our rules and pet policy.  Please pay particular attention to our pet policy as we would not want to turn you away or ask you to leave due to any misunderstanding of our pet policy.  The safety of all our guests, especially children, is of upmost importance to us.  The reality is that most campgrounds inherently have a lot of dogs coexisting in very close proximity to one another.

Any payment due at check-in must be paid with Cash, Visa, or MasterCard—no personal checks are accepted. (Check-in 1:00 – Check-out 12:00)

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY:

Nightly Reservations:  When cancelling with 14 or more days’ notice, a refund will be given less a $50 cancellation fee.  When cancelling with less than 14 days’ notice, a refund will be given less a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the reservation cost. No refunds after check in or due to the discomforts of nature.

Weekly/Monthly Reservations:  When cancelling with 14 or more days’ notice, a refund will be given less a $100 cancellation fee for weekly reservations or $200 cancellation fee for monthly reservations.  When cancelling with less than 14 days’ notice, a refund will be given less a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the reservation cost.  No refunds after check in or due to the discomforts of nature.

Semi-annual and Annual Reservations:  Due to the significant discount given on semi-annual agreements, no refunds are given for early departure.  Refunds on annual reservations are based on the early departure terms agreed upon at signing.

No refund for no shows or cancellations made on the scheduled date of arrival.

Refund payments will be refunded using the original method of payment. If a credit card was used for payment, then the same card must be used for the refund credit. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for processing. 

For all reservations, guest may choose to retain the full balance as a credit towards a future stay in lieu of a refund.  However, the credit must be used within the same calendar year.
