River’s Edge is a quiet, family-friendly campground in Eastern NC, located on the Bay River between Bayboro NC and Vandemere, NC. With over 700 feet of waterfront, two fishing piers, and a boat ramp, Rivers Edge Family Campground offers campers the availability to enjoy Bay River’s beauty and bounty from the shoreline or by boat, kayak, canoe or whatever water toy you choose. At River’s Edge, we are truly a family campground: You may come as a stranger, but you will leave as family!
We understand that pets become like family, and that vacations can be even more fun when we bring our pets along with us. That’s why we welcome your furry friends to join you at River’s Edge. However, we do have several pet policies in place, which we enforce in order to keep everyone happy and safe while visiting our campground.
While we welcome your pets, we do not allow any large, aggressive breeds or nuisance dogs. If your dog barks excessively, regardless of their size, then that’s also considered a nuisance as this disturbs your neighbors in the campground.
Make sure that you keep your dog with you at all times. That means that you can’t leave them unattended in your camper, tent, or outside at your campground.
When walking your dog around the campground, make sure that you keep them on a leash. You’re welcome to walk them around the campground, but we ask that you don’t take them on the pier as it poses a safety risk for both your dog and our visitors. Also, always remember to clean up after them after they use the bathroom.
We reserve the right to ask any of our guests to leave if they don’t follow our pet policy.
