River’s Edge is a quiet, family-friendly campground in Eastern NC, located on the Bay River between Bayboro NC and Vandemere, NC. With over 700 feet of waterfront, two fishing piers, and a boat ramp, Rivers Edge Family Campground offers campers the availability to enjoy Bay River’s beauty and bounty from the shoreline or by boat, kayak, canoe or whatever water toy you choose. At River’s Edge, we are truly a family campground: You may come as a stranger, but you will leave as family!
When you come to visit us, you can spend all of your time at our campground, relaxing by the water, or you can also venture out to check out some of the local attractions. If you decide to take in some sights while you’re here, you’re in luck, because we are close to a number of exciting things to do and see.
We are within a short driving distance of a number of charming coastal towns, including New Bern, NC, which is only about 30 minutes from our campground. New Bern’s downtown area offers a number of riverfront restaurants and unique boutiques, which you’re sure to love.
If you want to venture out a little farther, you can visit Washington, NC, which is a little under an hour’s drive from our campground. Washington is a beautiful waterfront town with a rich history dating back over 200 years. Washington’s downtown area features a number of breathtaking historic homes and buildings that will make you feel like you’re stepping back in time.
