River’s Edge is a quiet, family-friendly campground in Eastern NC, located on the Bay River between Bayboro NC and Vandemere, NC. With over 700 feet of waterfront, two fishing piers, and a boat ramp, River’s Edge Family Campground offers campers the availability to enjoy Bay River’s beauty and bounty from the shoreline or by boat, kayak, canoe or whatever water toy you choose. At River’s Edge, we are truly a family campground: You may come as a stranger, but you will leave as family!
At River’s Edge, we make it a priority to make sure that we have a family friendly campground for you and your kids (and even your furry family members as well). We have a number of activities both on-site and within a short drive of our campground that are sure to be fun for everyone in the family.
Plenty to Do
Our campground boasts over 700 feet of waterfront, 2 fishing piers, and a boat ramp. So, you can spend your days enjoying the water and soaking up the sun. In addition, we also have a playground onsite for the little ones. We have a heated bathhouse to wash up in after your day enjoying the outdoors, and we have a laundry facility if you need to clean your clothes or wash that swimsuit.
If you want to get out and see the sights, there are a number of charming coastal towns within a short drive from our campground, such as New Bern, Bath, Beaufort, and NC’s Crystal Coast (yup, that’s right…we’re close to the beach!). You can get away for the day with the kids and then settle back into our quiet, family friend campground to rest at night.
A Quiet Place to Rest
In order to help keep our campground family friendly, we ask all of our campers to observe quiet hours from 10 PM to 7 AM each day. In addition, we ask you to keep your dog on a leash and off the piers for the safety of all of our visitors. Loud music and fireworks are also prohibited on the campground to make our site peaceful for everyone.
